Positive: Breakfast was great - good selection of items great taste. Location is great for touring around Yarmouth. Room was clean and had everything needed for our short stay. Staff were fantastic and helpful.

Negative: Beds were a bit too firm - I heard other rooms were too soft so it's personal preference for sure! Wish breakfast hours were longer during the week. Don't put people travelling with pets in an adjoining room - the noise is impossible to control.

Positive: This property was recently renovated (2025 - 2026) so everything has a modern look and feel. I really liked that there are enough accessible plug outlets for charging devices (phone, iPad, etc.) and that they upgraded to LED bulbs, so the place is bright enough to read books. The wall light is poorly placed - it's like a large moon facing the bed and is a bit blinding for anyone sitting on the bed and facing that direction, but I like that it makes the room bright enough to see when you're packing or unpacking. The beds are new and, though they felt soft when we first arrived, we both found them very comfortable for sleeping - no sore backs in the morning. The floors are vinyl plank, so no carpet to catch and hold other people's dirt. The bathroom is small, but not so tiny you can't move, and the shower works well. The TV is a good size for the space, and there was a clock radio on the nightstand - though the controls didn't work on ours. The microwave and fridge are a nice addition. Breakfast was great - well cooked eggs, sausages or bacon, hash browns, make your own waffles, and various fruits, yogurt, breads, muffins, and juice, tea and coffee. The motel is on the main street coming into town from either highway (102 or 103), beside the shopping mall and there are several chain restaurants nearby. It's a short drive (~3km) into the downtown area where there are other shops, restaurants and attractions.

Negative: The rooms are from an earlier era where double beds were the norm. They replaced those with queen beds, which seems good except the rooms were built for doubles so now there isn't much space to move around the beds or the room. Using a mobility device is extremely hard because of the reduced space. They have rooms with one king bed which have more space but if you want to sleep in separate beds, this place is limited in what it can offer. There was a problem with the GFI outlet in the bathroom - it tripped even when turning on the nightlight they provided. I reported the outlet and the radio issue, so I'm hoping it gets fixed for the next people. A problem with every hotel, there are not enough towel racks to hang towels so you can re-use them. Also, the bathroom door is missing a hook to hang your dressing gown or toiletry bag - a small thing that makes the stay a bit more pleasant.

Summary: Good location, good breakfast, comfortable beds - a good place to stay.

Negative: A brochure was missing. For example, A Welcome menu informing us where the ice maker is located and various fire exits. Surrounding restaurants and Yarmouth tourist destinations and shopping would have been perfect. Maybe this was at the check-in desk I don't know. All things considered they are doing a great jobs.
